About Us

Created to fill a void in the market

Born from an obsession, and the brain child of two Aerospace Engineers based in Cheshire, the original Stealth prime was designed by a team of aircraft designers using 3D design technologies. Launched in 2016, the aim was to provide a unique low profile, lightweight and easy to operate elevating roof. The mission of Stealth is to provide fantastic elevating roofs, which complement the design and appearance of the original vehicle, whilst providing perfect performance and ease of operation. It is a response to the growing demand for campervan customisation services, which enhance rather than detract from the original vehicles styling. The visual appearance of the Stealth Products has always been at the forefront of the design process, however practicality has also been the other major driver meaning ease of operation by the user is not compromised.

Following the Prime, the Stealth Bullet was launched in 2019, which was followed by the Stealth B2 the following year. Utilising a unique patented operating mechanism, both new variants were able to keep the same low profile OEM look, sitting just a few millimetres off the original roof line, but the operation became an absolute cinch, with the roof being popped up and down in just a few seconds with no risk of trapping the tent in the rear hinge, as the new mechanism has no scissor hinge! Internally there is minimal loss of headroom, making both versions compatible with all existing seating and bed systems including RIB.
The Stealth B2 has one of the largest tent areas of all pop tops on the market and also benefits from zero fuss operation. Aesthetically the rounded corners offers a departure from the standard rectangular canvas, making this roof stand out from the crowd!

This year saw the launch of the Stealth FTC. Designed specifically for the SWB Ford Transit Custom, the Stealth FTC again has adopted the same patented operating mechanism as its VW cousins, which again allows for a super slick, low profile, super easy to operate pop top.

Also in 2022, LowLife Products Ltd, which is the parent company of the Stealth Roof, rebranded. Now known as Van & Bus, we have now launched a new online shop to our website, where related products such as our in house designed range of kitchen units, a full range of Rock n Roll beds, floors, electrical units as well as a whole host of other items you might need for your camper conversion can be purchased.

January 2024 saw manufacturing begin on the much-anticipated Ford Transit Custom, FTC LWB pop top. The longwheelbase variant of our super low profile pop top, (expected to be available for installation from May 2024) completes the range of British made pop tops for both the VW & Ford SWB & LWB models.
